ALL of Crello’s design functionalities are free for all our users. However, when it comes to templates, design elements, and photos, some are reserved for our Advanced or Pro subscribers only.
In fact, by now, you must have encountered paid, free, and subscription icons in Crello.
Here is what it all means
- Free – many design templates, photos, fonts, and objects are available for free. These are marked with a ‘FREE' written on the thumbnail. In the ‘Media' tab, all photos under the Free Photos section are available to everyone for unlimited usage. Also, many shapes, icons, and illustrations under the ‘Object' tab are for free use.
- Premium (Diamond icon) – Advance or Pro plan subscribers can access more templates and elements – including video templates, 20,000 vectors and illustrations, and many photos. These are all marked with a diamond icon.
- Paid ($0.99) – Some photo and backgrounds are marked with a $0.99 note. This means that they must be paid for by the user regardless of the subscription plan.
If you are using one of these images or backgrounds in your design, you will be prompted to pay for it when you click the download button. You can then either purchase it with your credit card or PayPal account or use your subscription downloads (advanced users can download 5 images per month, and pro users have access to 10) to cover the cost of the $0.99 photo.
