One of the most basic - and also the most important - of design functionalities is color. To give its users complete flexibility during the design phase, Crello has integrated custom color setups in several sections - such as in solid color backgrounds, fonts, and design objects like shapes, icons, lines and some of the frames and stickers.
How to use the color tab and custom HEX color set up
- On the artboard click on the design element/background to open a separate edit tab, which shows the current object/background/font’s color.
- Clicking on the object color will expand the tab to show two tab options – Presets and Custom.
- The Presets tab has a selection of preloaded colors, and you just need to click on one of them to change the color of the object you have selected (Crello cool tip: Clicking on one of the main colors further opens up various shades around that color)
- The Custom tab has a HEX color setup that allows you to pick any shade you like and experiment with changing colors in real time. If you have a specific shade in mind, you can also input its color code to get an exact match.
