Sometimes it happens that the team account owner needs to leave the project and the team needs to assign the account ownership to one of the existing sub-accounts or invite a new account owner.
In case your former account owner cannot be reached:
You need to check if the automatic email forwarding to the coworker's email has been set up. As an option, you can ask your company's system administrator to temporarily re-activate access to your former account owner's email for you to quickly change the account ownership.
Login to Crello account using your former coworker's email and request a password recovery link on the log in page of Crello website. The password recovery link will be sent to your former coworker's email and you can change the password to the new one by following the link from the email. After you successfully log in, make sure to change the account email in the “Account” settings
If you cannot reach out to your former coworker or his corporate email is no longer available, make sure to contact our support team to complete the account verification process.
In case your former account owner can be reached:
You can ask your former account owner to reassign the account ownership to one of the sub-accounts or to send an invite to a new team member who can be made a new account owner instead.
Please, note that the new account owner will be able to access and edit all the existing projects on the Team and Personal spaces of the account of the former account owner. |
When you transfer the account ownership to the new team member, they need to accept an email invitation. The new account owner also must agree to the Terms of Use and re-enter or replace the billing info on the account.
Note: Team account features are available only while working on Crello website and cannot be accessed in-app (IOS or Android)
